Delivering a set of laboratory equipment to oil field sites in Africa or the Middle East is 3-5 times more difficult than doing so domestically. It's not because the equipment is different, but because the complexity of logistics, customs clearance, installation conditions, and after-sales service is on a completely different level. 

Overseas lab projects face four major challenges: The first is logistics and export compliance. Exporting precision instruments requires compliance with the import regulations of the destination country, obtaining necessary export licenses, and using shockproof, moisture-proof, and anti-static packaging during transport. Sea shipping can take 30-60 days—any mistake in the process could result in the equipment being unable to clear customs or getting damaged upon arrival.

The second challenge is on-site installation conditions. Domestic labs have standard temperature and humidity control, stable power supply, and professional operators. Overseas project sites may be desert camps—with temperatures around 45°C, unstable voltage, and dust everywhere. For the Niger project, Dehui Sci Instrument added voltage stabilizers and independent air conditioning systems to the equipment plan and considered dust-proof sealing from the lab design stage.

The third challenge is training and after-sales support. Local operators on overseas sites may have no experience using analytical instruments. Training has to start with basics like 'what is Tg,' and SOPs need plenty of pictures and even videos. Remote technical support is also a must for overseas projects.
